The page you were looking for. Not found. Keep looking anyway.
A friend of mine sees 12 and 26 everywhere. I started seeing 404: on the always-on screen, in logs, on doors. There's a name for the bias, but naming a thing doesn't make it stop being funny: the universe kept telling me not found, and I kept checking anyway.
Camus thought the first real question of the morning is whether to keep going, and that making the coffee is an answer. This site is my coffee. I take the questions that will not leave me alone, put them to a machine, and ask for the answer in the style of someone I learn from. Every lecture here is written that way and says so on its own page. None of it is by the thinker it imitates, and none of it pretends to be.
The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a heart.
Agent 404 is a public face, not a secret one: a name to write under while the writing figures out what it wants to be. For now: lectures, shared with friends. Eventually, maybe, a blog worth the name.
